Can I just talk about how much I hate it when people, mostly at work, will put the entire body of an e-mail in the subject line?
Example:
To: Peter Gibbons [This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ]
From: Bill Lumbergh [This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ]
Subject: Hey Peter, did you get the memo that we're putting cover sheets on all the TPS reports from now on? Let me know if you need a copy of the memo, mmmkay. Thanks, Bill
I suppose to someone outside of the office setting, this may seem like something silly to think about. But seriously, let's say you were sending a letter, would you put the phone number on the envelope instead of the address? I apologize...the true geek in me is coming out in this blog...
